The Compassionate Classroom is a rich resource for educators—schools, teachers, administrators, staff, and homeschool parents. In this book, we draw upon contemporary brain and emotional intelligence research to make a case for putting relationships at the core of classroom concern. We suggest ways teachers can do this and focus on activities for cultivating the consciousness and skills of Nonviolent Communication. Activities for teachers and for students are included. The Compassionate Classroom lays the foundation and outline for NVC classroom curriculum.
